Swayzee

Right after college is when I got Swayzee. He was born one day after my first nephew, on the same day as my sister’s birthday, and shortly after my son was born. He was loved by everyone and was inseparable from my son. If my son spent the night at my parents then that meant Swayzee spent the night with my parents. This was a Rotty that couldn’t get enough love and he was known for his nudging when he wanted attention or when you stop petting and clearly he wasn’t ready. Other favorite memories are him mimicking the sirens, always sitting on my feet, and his deep dark eyes that always made everyone fall in love with him. We moved three times and each time he somehow became the neighbor favorite. I would always catch the neighbors giving him treats and love from the fence line. We had 12 long years with him and even though 12 years will never be enough I’ll always be thankful for the love, comfort, and undeniable loyalty he shown everyday of his life.
