Since 1975, Frey Pet Hospital has been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals in the United States and Canada meet the rigorous standards set forth by AAHA. Frey Pet Hospital does not strive to be ordinary, we climb to be extraordinary, the emphasis on ‘extra’. As a business we thrive on having satisfied clients and patients, and it is critical for our team to push to be extraordinary. To determine an achievable goal, our hospital needs to honestly evaluate our current skill set, mix in our own team’s passion and available resources, then take action!
We are extremely proud to have been able to bring this quality of care to your pet for more than forty years. We continually meet or exceed strict requirements clearly defined in over 400 areas within the hospital with more than 3,000 individual standards assessed each time our accreditation is renewed. Achieving and maintaining accreditation reflects our commitment to upholding our hospital philosophy which is, “Treating your pets as if they were our very own.” Every three years we have a clinic wide evaluation by AAHA to ensure we are continually meeting their standards.
At our AAHA-accredited facility, our clients can expect the ‘extra’, receiving the highest quality care from a well-trained, professional veterinary team. Animal hospitals are not required to be AAHA-accredited. AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized among the finest in the industry, pushing to be at the forefront of advances in veterinary medicine. Frey Pet Hospital strives for extraordinary by maintaining this accreditation year after year. Frey Pet Hospital is constantly striving to be a top-notch provider in the Eastern Iowa area for veterinary medicine.
