Dr. Jennifer Feuerbach has a special interest in reproductive medicine. From determining the optimum time to breed your dogs and enhancing the success of pregnancy to monitoring the progress of pregnancy via ultrasound, she has you covered.
Dr. Feuerbach uses progesterone testing and vaginal cytology to help with staging the estrus (heat) cycle of the female. She is also able to evaluate the male’s virility via microscopic evaluation of sperm. Additional tests, including a thyroid analysis, may be performed on your dog before estrus. These tests can rule out any potential problems or alert you to issues that need to be addressed before breeding.
