We adopted Boomer in September of 2015 from Last Hope Animal Shelter. He was just over 1 year old. He didn’t have the greatest 1st year of his life. He was abandoned and found on a farm in North English. The owner of the farm posted him and his brother on Craigslist for free and the wonderful people of Last Hope saw the posting and quickly went and got them both. Boom’s brother was adopted within a few weeks, but our Boom was there for 10 months before we found him. It was the big head tilt for me that made me say “yep that’s my dog!” We brought Boom home and he had a lot of separation anxiety, but quickly figured out we were his people and that he finally had a place to call home. 3 years after we adopted Boomer he became a big brother to our Son, Weston. Boom didn’t know what to think at first but eventually would love his little brother so much to where he was sleeping in his bed with him. In 2022 Boom became a big brother to his little sister too, he knew the drill so he became acclimated with her quickly. Throughout his life he loved to chase bunnies, eat cheese, was obsessed with the hose and loved to be in the sun. He brought so much love to our family and was the sweetest boy, and such a big baby. We were so blessed to have him with us for almost 9 years and we are so glad we could give him his forever home. We will miss him so much.
