Luna was almost 15 years old. She was a lab and aussie shephard mix, heavy on the shephard. She loved her family and those she imprinted on early but other than that, no ma’am, she did not believe she needed or wanted any additional friends. 🙂 She was spicy and as Dr. Feurbach said, “she always kept me on my toes. ” Nothing made her happier than jumping off the dock at the family cabin in northern WI to grab her football and herding her sheep. She also loved treats and chasing after the cat on occasion to show who was in charge. She was a great big sister to her chihuahua brother. Luna’s mind was still sharp but sadly her body was failing faster and faster. She had the best expressive brown eyes and lovely white eyebrows and muzzle that appeared as she aged. We will spread her ashes at the cabin, surrounded by the family and lake she loved. Thank you to Dr. Feurbach and everyone who made a difficult decision so peaceful and respectful. Run free, Lulu. Uncle Tom will be throwing your ball for you until we see you again. xoxo
